General Summary

Our Sales Manager is responsible for building and leading a talented team of salespeople to drive revenue. Motivating the team to generate leads, build relationships with clients, set targets, and achieve revenue goals is critical to this role.

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the outside sales team throughout the state of Florida.

Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold the sales team accountable for individual and Company established sales goals.
  • Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories (based on the number of agencies and geographical area size), quotas, and goals.
  • Manage numbers to ensure account executives are meeting and exceeding KPIs on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Ensure effective control of sales results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of sales objectives falls within designated budgets.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly sales activity reports of account executives.
  • Meet regularly with the Vice president to discuss current challenges and future sales opportunities.
  • Analyze client base to determine best marketing approach, and organize events and other situations that help drive sales.
  • Monitor competitive products/services, sales, and marketing activities and communicate awareness and activities to management.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals.
  • Meet key clients, assisting account executives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Analyze and control the expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:


Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree (B.A.)

Minimum Experience: Over five (5+) years of experience in a leadership role.

Valid Driver’s License
